About the Pastor
Fr. Mark began as Administrator on June 19, 2012, and was appointed Pastor on June 18, 2013 by Archbishop Listecki. Ordained on May 23, 2009, Fr. Mark was assigned as an associate pastor to St. Alphonsus, Greendale, from 2009 until 2012 when he was appointed Administrator here at St. Agnes. Fr. Mark believes that it's God's will that we get stretched and pulled by God to accept new people and experiences in our lives.
Born and raised in the MIlwaukee area, Fr. Mark followed the normal sacramental progression as a youth but then fell away from the church during college. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls with a degree in Farm Management/Business Administration. He held various positions (diary farmer, restaraunt manager, pest control, and shift supervisor in research & development in a food plan) before he began his journey through St. Francis Seminary at the age of 43, and ordained at 49.
Fr. Mark is extremely excited to be able to lead this community in prayer on a weekly basis where the parishioners participate very well. It is our responsibility to answer God's call to be prayerful, compassionate servants to all people!
