Welcome to Saint Agnes Parish

Dear Friends,

Fr. Timothy C. Bickel

Thank you for visiting the Saint Agnes Web site. We hope you find what you are looking for. If you have questions or suggestions about the site, please contact us.
As Pastor of St. Agnes Parish, I greet you and welcome you to come and see and learn more about us! We are a parish community of approximately 1,015 families. Our mission is to be prayerful, compassionate servants to all God's people. Through this mission we work hard at looking outward to a broader community through our many human concern outreach programs. Through our Liturgical Celebrations and Religious Formation efforts we invite one another to grow in faith and to share that faith in our world by being a hopeful, loving, Christ-like people! May the Lord guide you to a parish that will foster your love for one another; perhaps the Lord is calling you to St. Agnes Parish.

About the Pastor

Fr. Tim joined St. Agnes in October 2000. He came to us from St. Dominic Parish in Brookfield where he had been an associate pastor for two years. St. Agnes Parish is Fr. Tim's first pastorate. Although he had short-lived worries about being ready for his first pastorate assignment, Fr. Tim believes that it's God's will that he be here at St. Agnes.

Fr. Tim was born and raised in Oconto, Wisconsin. He grew up on a dairy farm and is one of seven children. He attended public schools and is very proud of the fact that he is a product of the Christian Formation program. He attended Marquette University and St. Francis Seminary from 1987 to 1992.

His first assignment after the seminary was at Holy Apostles Parish on the south side of Milwaukee. It was a wonderful assignment and Fr. Tim enjoyed his time at this parish.

Father was "eager to say yes" when the Archdiocese contacted him regarding the opening at St. Agnes. Father visited our parish and he encountered friendly people and was very impressed. Father commented that the St. Dominic parishioners had nothing but nice things to say about our community after the announcement was made. Although he will miss his former parish, he is very excited to be a part of the St. Agnes Parish family.
